YETC Philosophy

 YETC is committed to providing a variety of services to assist youth and families in resolving behavioral and emotional difficulties and to enhance family and individual performance. A continuum of services consisting of individual, group, family treatment, case and behavior management, respite, in home, outpatient counseling, prevention, family support and recreational activities services are provided in a respectful and professional manner.

In collaboration with the child and family and others YETC provides accessible behavioral health services designed to aid children to achieve success in school, live with their families, avoid delinquency and become stable and productive adults. Services are tailored to the child and family and provided in the most appropriate setting, in a timely fashion and in accordance with best practices, while respecting the child and family’s cultural heritage.

 

 PNS Y GuyProject Next Step

In the evolution of the Arizona Practice Model there is recognition of the need to minimize the frequency, degree and intensity of out of home placements and to provide timely services to children and their families in the home and community.

Project Next Step (PNS) is a family and community centered intervention designed to enhance the stability and integrity of the family by keeping or returning the child to the home, or other least restrictive setting. PNS strengthens families, encourages system independence and personal responsibility by creating an individualized plan for each family guided by the child and family team. Services are provided in the home and community for children of all ages.

Direct Services Include:

  • Behavior management

  • Family support

  • Social and life skill development

  • Structured recreational activities

  • Independent living skills

  • Case management

  • Consultation to the child and family team


 
OP Y GuyOutpatient Services

Individual and family centered therapy for youth and their families who are experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral and substance abuse problems. This program consists of a staff of therapists, case managers, family support partners and coordinators.

Services Include:
  • Child and Family Team facilitation

  • Psychiatric services

  • In home and family support

  • Respite care

  • Behavior coaching

  • Case management

  • Individual, group and family therapy

  • Multi-family support groups


 Y GuyIntensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Program (IOPSA)

 

The IOPSA program is a family and community centered substance abuse program that works with youth and their families in a group, family, individual and community setting. Designed for co-ed with substance abuse issues. IOPSA utilizes The Seven Challenges ® curriculum based on a decision making and empowerment model. Group meets 3 times per week and youth are provided with ongoing individual and family support. Skilled staff address personal, social and family concerns that may contribute to the cycle of addiction.

Services Include:

  • Education and information on substance abuse issues

  • Strength based social and life skills enhancement

  • Recovery activities to support a substance free lifestyle

  • Development of informal support network

 

Y GuyPrevention Services

YETC has teamed up with the Partnership for a Drug Free America, Arizona affiliate to focus on the reduction of substance abuse and its consequences in Buckeye, AZ. The Way Out West Coalition (WOW) was created to build a community partnership that will be carrying out strategic plan that achieve these goals. Please call us for more info!
