History
Youth Evaluation and Treatment Centers (Youth ETC) began its mission
in 1974 as a small group home for youth referred by the Maricopa
County Juvenile Court. Over the years, through good times and
bad, our organization has grown and prospered. While the names
and faces of our staff and leadership have changed many times
over, the commitment and focus on serving at-risk youth and families
has remained steady. The guiding principles developed by early
leaders and built upon by succeeding generations of committed
Directors and Staff have been held sacred, resistant to compromise
or surrender. Youth ETC has matured into a prominent and respected
agency in Arizona's Youth Services community.
The services that are provided today evolved with the ever-changing
needs of our consumers and clients. We are vigilant in our efforts
to provide youth and families with the very best care, employing
the most advanced skills and expertise that our resources allow.
The continuum of services and programs that Youth ETC now provides
are different from those of a decade ago, and will continue to
grow and improve as we move forward into the new century.
